Economic Crimes

Most people know, there are many categories crimes in the world, and under every country’s criminal law provides different crimes, even the same category crime, the different countries have different types. Therefore, here only discuss economic crimes’ categories under American criminal law.

Under American law, there are about 11 economic crimes. Obviously, these crimes exist common motive and purpose, for money by illegal means. However, according to criminal means and behaviors, there are four major crimes.

The first, criminals commit crime by personal action, such as burglary, pickpocket, shoplift, smuggler, kidnap.

The second, criminals force victims to give some benefits to him by threatening information, for instance, blackmail.

The third is that cheat victims by faking something, for example, fraud, forgery, embezzlement, laundry.

The final, giving other person or organizations money or benefits for more return, such as bribery.

This is only a kind of classification, there are other different taxonomies, such as criminal, conspiracy, and so on.
